XINSEN AS440 Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) – Stable & Reliable Power for Your Generator

Product Overview

The XINSEN AS440 is a half-wave phase-controlled thyristor-type Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) designed for brushless generators. This model employs advanced Surface Mount Technology (SMT), integrating a comprehensive set of features into a compact and robust module. It ensures exceptionally stable and reliable voltage control for your generator system.

Whether used as a core component in standard applications or in demanding scenarios that require sustained short-circuit performance, the AS440 is engineered to deliver superior performance.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Precise Voltage Control: The closed-loop control system links with the main stator and exciter field windings to continuously monitor and regulate the output voltage with precision. Load regulation is maintained at +/- 1.0%, ensuring stable operation for connected equipment.
  • Reliable Voltage Build-up: Utilizes high-efficiency power semiconductors to ensure positive voltage build-up from low residual magnetism levels, enabling rapid and dependable generator starting.
  • Comprehensive Protection:
    • Over-Excitation Protection: An internal circuit safeguards the generator by limiting over-excitation conditions to a safe, pre-determined time period.
    • Under-Frequency Protection (UFRO): Automatically reduces the excitation output when the engine speed drops, protecting the entire system from under-frequency conditions.
  • Enhanced Flexibility & Compatibility:
    • Parallel Operation: Equipped with a droop CT connection, allowing for seamless parallel operation with other similarly equipped generators.
    • External Device Ready: An analogue input is provided for easy connection to a XINSEN Power Factor Controller or other external devices with compatible outputs.
    • Remote Voltage Adjustment: Supports the connection of a remote voltage trimmer, giving the user fine-tune control over the generator’s output.
